Conversations Leading to Clarity

Tonight I made the quick decision to head to Pacific Kava, a local Kava and Coffee bar in my town. Turns out, it was one of the luckiest decisions I could make. :)

I ran into some beautiful friends completely be accident. As we were catching up with each other, we shared our insights and perspectives regarding what we were personally experiencing in life and what we were witnessing from one another. It’s amazing what one conversation can do. Here lately, I’ve been focused on some other needs in my life and have been feeling stumped with my pursuits and this blog. I’ve been questioning myself, starting drafts and not finishing them, and making little updates here and there.

I have to tell yall, though, I’ve also been in a state of reflection. Last year, I ended my three year relationship and moved in with some friends, a beautiful married couple. I completely uprooted my life and didn’t know what the year of 2024 had in store for me. I’ve been navigating a lot of inner personal work and how I see myself is shifting. I’ve been taking new classes, eating in different places, having new experiences, and slowly rebuilding my own foundations. It’s been a beautiful roller coaster. I have a vision and am also taking the needed steps to bring that into fruition. Honestly, I’ve been really proud of myself in a lot of ways, and I’m celebrating that! Then this evening I was gifted the opportunity to converse with some incredible friends and I remembered where I am going and what I am dedicated too. Love these moments! “God Moments” and my friend, Chancee, would say. “Divine alignment”, “coincidence”, “probable cause”… whatever anyone would call it, I’d say I’m grateful for it.

Sometimes, it takes a fresh mind and a new space to open ourselves to what we already know and thought we didn’t know before. One phrase or word in a conversation can light up the soul of another. We can often forget the impact of what our presence alone can make. It’s through our own experiences we can inspire others. After all, if we weren’t witnessing something or someone then where does inspiration come from? What’s so beautiful as well, is that we don’t even have to try to inspire others, the inspiration comes from within the one experiencing the sensation! It’s our experience that can inspire others, because it’s their choice to be inspired. It’s amazing what can happen when we open ourselves to an experience and choose something different than we normally chose before. Another opportunity is opening ourselves to experience inspiration even in the mundane. How can the “norm” inspire us too?

Have you been inspired lately? Who or what has inspired you?

Thanks for reading. :)

Love,

Kala
